Fragments of Creation

“Fragments of Creation” by Gloria Bruni is conceived as a contribution to humanity’s search for answers to questions about the origin of the universe, life and humanity, and shares a concern for the future of our planet as a place worth living.

The project was inspired by conversations the composer had with scientists at DESY (German National Centre for Nuclear and Particle Physics).

Various inspirations influenced Gloria Bruni’s score: for example, the Lagrange formula is set to music, which she places on an equal footing with other liturgical works in order to present the different approaches dialectically and creatively in a musical confrontation.
