Since her childhood Gloria has always been interested in sacred music and during her studies she played the violin in many church concerts. In December 2013, Gloria Bruni’s aria “Angelo di Dio” (Angel of God), a meditation on Bach’s Air from the Orchestral Suite No. 3 in D major, premiered as part of a charity event organised by the “Phönikks” Foundation. The aria was sung by Gloria Bruni also at the funeral of Dr.Colleen McCullough in February 2015 on Norfolk Island. Colleen McCullough, the most famous Australian writer, had turned her world bestseller “The Thorn Birds” into a musical with Gloria Bruni.
